Other Washington Sales Tax Information

Filing Requirements: Monthly and Quarterly taxpayers must file and pay their taxes electronically. For taxpayers who are not required to file and pay electronically pre-printed returns are mailed about four weeks before the due date.

What Will You Need: File your return electronically using E-file, the Department’s online filing tool. To use E-file, you must create an online account. You will need your Tax Registration/UBI Number and Pre-Assigned Access Code (PAC).

If filing via paper, your nine-digit Tax Registration Number is printed above your name and address on the tax return. Write this number on: the deduction detail pages (if reporting deductions on your tax return), any related forms, and your check.

Register For a Sales Tax License: You can register your business online or by downloading a paper Business License Application and mailing it in.
